What an incredible weekend in Wrexham!
Two sold-out nights once again — and what a joy it was to sing to such enthusiastic home audiences. The new set looked absolutely fantastic, and a huge thank you goes to Pivotel Sound and Lighting for doing such a brilliant job.
It was wonderful to launch our brand-new programme — and what a way to celebrate the release of our new EP! It was a busy night at the merch table, with the lads meeting audience members and chatting with supporters old and new.
It’s always a real honour to hear my arrangements performed so beautifully by Glian at the piano, orchestrated so masterfully by Jon Cohen, and brought to life by a choir singing with full gusto. The soloists within the choir truly showed their class throughout the evening.
Performing nine new songs for the first time is no small feat — the choir rose to the challenge magnificently.
A special thank you as well to our comperes Cai, Joe, Ioan, and Berwyn, who brought so much warmth, humour, and personality to the concerts. They also announced next year’s 20th Anniversary Gala Concert, with tickets already selling fast!
I couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved — what a way to celebrate Johns’ Boys in our home city.
